Ford to Close Dealerships
Ford's sales are severely slumped. They haven't designed and produced many 'interesting' cars in the past years. The Mustang is doing pretty good; the Fusion has already lost its luster. An average Ford dealership sells half the cars that a Toyota dealership will sell in a month. Consequently, Ford is closing some stores.
I don't mean to sound callous, and I feel sorry for displaced employees, but it's simple supply and demand. Is anybody really surprised?
