Both Enzo Ferrari and Ferdinand Porsche created their first sports car in the late 1940's (Ferrari in 1947 and Porsche in 1948). Both men worked for other car companies early in their career (Ferrari for Alfa Romeo and Porsche for Daimler and Volkswagon).
But in my opinion, that is where the similarities end...
Porsche does not even come close to Ferrari in reputation. Although many performance specs between the two are essentially a wash, the Ferrari name gives the 360 the edge everytime.
The reviewer nailed it when he said that "the Ferrari is a scaled-down version of God and the Porsche is a jumped-up Volkswagon Beetle."
In my opinion, no car has ever or will ever compare to a Ferrari.
