The oil change sticker on my car has a date and a mileage number for the next recommended oil change. I don't put many miles on the car other than for travelling to work. Is it important to still change the oil based upon the oil change date on the sticker?

My Honda Odyssey has reached 30K miles now and, according to the maintenance schedule, is supposed to have a transmission oil change. The Honda dealership charges $75 to change the transmission oil. What would you recommend?
Can we connect our notebook computers up to automobiles to troubleshooting, make performance changes, etc.? If so, how and are there some standards that all automobile makers follow?

Our freeways are just too crowded with automobiles and traffic jams. When are companies going to take advantage of our technological advances and allow/trust more employees to work from home? There are so many advantages to this such as reducing global warming, reducing dependency on foreign oil, and especially building our familes back up reducing the divorce rate and embracing work/life balance. A happy employee is a productive employee. We need to return to enjoying a pleasant occasional "Sunday" drive of our automobiles and not hate it due to the increasing road rage.
I travel by car between Dallas and Houston. How can I find out if there are any major traffic backups on I45 due to construction or even accidents and then find recommended alternative routes? Is there a website to visit that can help?
